The Widmanns

On Saturday we headed out to the La Leche League conference in Costa Mesa and purchased a new baby carrier (this makes #5). This is definitely the most comfortable one to wear her in for a long period of time.
On Sunday we went to the Scottish Festival in Pomona. We found some information on the MacDougall clan (Matt’s maternal side of the family) and met some clan members. We listened to some Celtic music, ate some good food and watched the caber toss. Next year we are going to make sure that Ruby has her little kilt to wear. She did extremely well and seemed to enjoy the music.

We walked down to the bowl on Friday to see what was playing at the Shakespeare festival. The performance for the night was The Merry Wives of Winsor. We stayed a bit and then took Ruby again on Saturday to watch A Midsummer’s Night Dream. Now she has been exposed to Shakespeare….but I think what she enjoyed the most were the pretty lights.

I woke up to the smell of bacon frying and a clean house full of flowers. What a surprise.
Ruby and I had a great time blowing bubbles on the patio. I love her little laugh.

I know it’s been a bit since the last update. Work has been really busy for me and Michelle also went back to work 2 weeks ago (part-time).
