We bought this blow up pool at Target (along with the fancy bathing suit) for the scorching summer in Redlands. Initially, Ruby was not so sure about it but eventually adapted to the idea of being in a big bathtub. We also had her taste her first solid foods…..Sweet potatoes and Papa Guy’s avocados. Yum! She has developed quite the palate…..mashed up bananas, applesauce and carrots are her favorites so far.

"Oh, this is fun!"
Wadda you want?? Mama tried to make my hair into a mohawk.

Matt celebrated his first fathers day at home. We invited Papa Guy over for some BBQ. The ceramic handprints showed up in the mail just in time for Father’s Day.

Notice the iDad t-shirt :P

We went to see Dr. Jiffry this week and Ruby weighs 19.7 lbs and is 26 1/4 inches long. Yikes! She is on the 105th percentile for weight and 97th percentile for height. We like to think we are a bunch of over achievers in this family :)
She also had to have her 4 month old immunizations ( a little bit late). I think this was more traumatic for mommy than it was for her.

Happy June

This weekend we met up with the Freedains at the Lazy Dog restaurant in the city of Orange. We got there a little early and hung out by the fountain. Ruby seems to enjoy the water and being outdoors. A couple of pics in the gallery are of us in the front yard of our house, under the big trees. A new milestone for Ruby, sitting up by herself. Wow!

A new developmental milestone
